CONTRACT AND AMENDMENT OVERVIEW
Harris & Associates Inc.: Increase contract amount by $1 million to support on-call engineering consulting services.
Wallace & Associates Consulting Inc.: Extend contract by one year and increase by $1 million to continue construction management and engineering services.
Objective: Ensure timely and efficient completion of Capital Improvement Improvement Programs (CIP) and prevent delays in construction of public works improvements.
Alternative: Issuing a new Request for Proposal (RFP) would delay crucial Public Works projects and increase costs.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS & RECOMMENDATION
Financial Impacts:
Fully Funded through CIP budgets for FY 2023/24 ($41M) and FY 2024/25 ($35M).
No new CIP Funding required.
