HB’s court loss concerning its efforts to protect children and support parental rights is just an opening skirmish in this battle. The City correctly pointed to the US Supreme Court’s upholding of parental rights in its June ruling of Mahmoud v. Taylor which in fact supports HB’s position. Judge Martinez laughed this off, saying parents who object to sex books in the children's section rights are not infringed, since they can just not use the library.
Of course,
they still have to pay for it through their taxes.
We thank America First Legal for supporting us on this case.
The city should continue its righteous appeal all the way to the Supreme Court.

council for its courage.
