Authorize legal counsel to commence settlement discussions with counsel for the State Auditor, regarding the Grant Parks case. The goal would be to arrive at a settlement of the lawsuit, thereby ending further legal fees and related matters. Any settlement agreement would be submitted at a future Council meeting for review and approval.
