These flagpoles stand as a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans and active-duty military, and as a symbol of unity in celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial – 250 Y ears of Independence. May these flags wave proudly over Huntington Beach as a testament to the strength of our nation, the unity of our people, and the enduring promise of liberty for generations to come. present these flagpoles to the City of Huntington Beach in honor of all its citizens who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
