To date the City has received $1.3M in grant funds from CalRecycle in the Tire Recycling category.
The City is eligible to receive up to $375,000 towards the construction of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete (RAC) at a rate of $11.00 per ton during the TRP19, FY 2026-27 application cycle.
Resolution No. 2021-13 authorizing grant applications expired on March 1st, 2026.
Resolution No. 2026-36 renews the authorization for five years after certification.

Adopt Resolution No. 2026-36, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach Authorizing Submittal of Application(s) for all CalRecycle Grants for which the City of Huntington Beach is Eligible.”
