AGENDA ITEM 11 B - SUPPORT
Thank you for using SANDAG's recent presentation on the Otay Mesa Port of Entry as an opportunity to pressure SAN DAG to dedicate a portion of its tolls to mitigate the impacts of the sewage crisis. And thanks to City Staff for drafting this Resolution so quickly and insightfully.
Though not the emergency assistance we still desperately need, the Environmental Mitigation Fund will nevertheless provide a stable, sustainable funding source for wastewater infrastructure projects and prevent further degradation to our quality of life from the sewage crisis.
I commend you for bringing this Resolution forward and encourage you to adopt it.
