When public speakers do not provide their real name, the meeting minutes should not treat the pseudonym as an actual name.
Instead, when a pseudonym is used, it should appear in quotation marks to show it is an alias, such as:
An unidentified individual who refers to herself as "Pseudonym” A speaker using the pseudonym "Pseudonym'’
An individual calling herself 'Pseudonym"
A person choosing not to use their actual name, instead identifying as "Pseudonym" This approach provides transparency for the public, fairness to speakers who use their real names, and protects the First Amendment rights of the person using the pseudonym.

I want to thank Council for recognizing Latino Heritage Month and honoring the many contributions of Latino residents to our community.
As you consider this proclamation, I hope you will also keep in mind the stress and challenges some Latino families are now facing due to concerns about immigration enforcement and ICE raids.
Acknowledging these realities would make the proclamation even more meaningful.

Regarding the project for El Tapatio Catering. I am in favor of this project for the following reasons, The ownership of El Tapatio have been great stewarts of the corner of 3rd and palm. I am their next door neighbor to the project site and look forward to the improvements. The design is an upgrade for the area and with the success of their business they need more space, Please vote yes to their project.
