I encourage you to vote in favor of this Proclamation. It is important that, in addition to celebrating the end of slavery, we also raise awareness about our nation's troubled history with racial injustice and recognize that we still have more work to do.

Respectfully,

Date: Monday, June 17, 2024 4:49:55 PM
The proposed projects included in the Transnet Local Streets Improvement Program will improve safety and mobility for all modes of transportation. The use of a pavement management system in the project selection process is commendable and a proven best practice to ensure cost-effective decisions to optimize the condition of the entire pavement network.

Therefore, I request that you adopt the Resolution and approve the Transnet Local Streets Improvements Program.

Respectfully,
Sandy Brillhart

The 9th St. Improvement Project has been a long time coming, I'm glad that it is now at the construction stage and I look forward to its completion. I hope that you will approve the contract and necessary budget transfer to bring this worthy project to fruition. It is an excellent use of our Transnet funds.

This is a great project that will provide much needed green space to this part of town. I encourage you to accept the report and authorize pertinent enhancements.

I also suggest that the park be named in honor of Steven Wright, whose vision and passion planted the seed for this nice addition to our community.

Respectfully,
Sandy Brillhart
