Mayor Griffith convened the Special Council Meeting at 12:30 p.m. on October 19, 2023, in the City Hall Executive Conference Room.
B.APPROVAL OF THE FINAL AGENDA
A motion was made by Council Member Reed Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Sanders to Approve the Agenda as Submitted. The motion carried by the following vote:

D.CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Griffith stated the City Council would hold a Closed Session to discuss the following agenda items:

2 D.1 Conference with Legal Counsel Regarding Anticipated Litigation-Initiation of Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4). One (1) Potential Case.
City Attorney Todd Leishman reported a discussion relating to conference with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation-initiation of litigation, there was a 5-0 vote in favor of not taking action on the matter.
D.2 Conference with City’s Real Property Negotiator Pursuant to Government Code 54956.8. Real Property: APN 633-150-071.
City Attorney Todd Leishman reported a discussion relating real property negotiations with BBC Esmeralda, there was a 3-2 vote in favor in directing City staff to move forward with negotiations in the potential sale of easement over whole 18, Council Member Whitman and Peabody voting against the matter.
E.ADJOURNMENT
At 1:30 p.m., Mayor Griffith ADJOURNED the Special Council Meeting to a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council to be held at 1:30 p.m. on October 19, 2023, in the City Hall Council Chamber.
