Mayor Miller called to order the City Council Special meeting for the City of Indio at 3:00 p.m. in the Public Safety Services Building located at 46835 Bristol St., Indio, CA 92201.
REGULAR SESSION - 3 PM
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

3. DISCUSSION ITEMS
3.1 Strategic Plan Workshop for the City Council and City Leadership team facilitated by BerryDunn.
The strategic plan workshop provided an opportunity to discuss and develop the City Council’s long-term vision, goals, and initiatives. The session aimed to align the Council’s priorities with the city’s needs, ensuring efficient governance, community development, and resource allocation. During this session, participants reviewed the environmental scan, the current Mission Statement, the current Vision Statement, and Core Values. Key outcomes included the development of strategic focus areas, the setting of measurable goals, and the identification of action steps.
Mayor Miller called a recess at 4:23 p.m. and reconvened at 4:42 p.m.
BerryDunn partners, in collaboration with the City Council, conducted a SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges) analysis as part of the strategic planning process.
