Speaker (Name Unknown) spoke concerning his 53-foot-wide trailer parked on Beach Street, which was recently towed for being there for 72 hours. He stated that his trailer was also recently towed in Los Angeles and was held for three weeks, which cost him $1,400 to get it back. He also stated that he was not a truck driver but was building a business inside the trailer. The speaker discussed that after retrieving the trailer from being towed in Los Angeles, he moved it closer to his house on Beach Street, about half a mile from Bryant's Tow. He also discussed not paying attention to the ma rkings on the tires and watching Bryant's Tow take his trailer. The speaker noted that he had gone to get his trailer the next day, and a receipt was made out for $1,300 to get it out, not even 24 hours later. Also, he addressed that Bryant's Tow wasn't equipped to lift the trailer, so they subcontracted a Los Angeles towing company to do the work. According to his paperwork, he mentioned that the towing company in Los Angeles took three and a half hours to pick up the trailer, which was eight miles away. He also noted that he had been trying to fight this by himself, but there was no one to govern Bryant's Tow, which the City represents . The speaker expressed his feelings of being hurt because when he looks at the towing company, he looks at the City that represents this company. Further more , he added that the towing company was skyrocketing prices and taking advantage of people.
The speaker also added that so many things were happening and that it was a reflection of the city . Finally, he reiterated that he didn't know how to fight his complaint correctly and wanted someone with compassion to understand and help him.
