PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT (Gov. Code 54957)
D. REGULAR AGENDA:
1. Approve Purchase of Flow Meter for Wastewater Treatment Plant – At the last Regional Water Board Meeting, it was brought to everyone’s attention that the Tertiary Influent Flow Meter was broken. After further research, it was determined that the meter could not be repaired. Therefore, Waterstone obtained an estimate which is attached. The purchase of the meter is imperative as the Tracer Study cannot commence until the meter is working properly. The Regional Board Members stressed the importance of fast tracking the tracer study as it is already years behind.
After discussion by Council, it was moved by Councilmember Atlan, seconded by Councilmember Mitchell and carried to approve of the purchase of the Flow Meter for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Council convened to Closed Session to discuss the following:
Council reconvened to Open Session and announced that the LOI that the City discussed at the prior meeting has been signed by the Hahn Foundation. We are in the process and in the negotiation with the Hahn Family while simultaneously looking for a third-party purchaser. There are several options that we can pursue.
