The meeting was held at the Jurupa Valley City Council Chamber, 8930 Limonite Avenue, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509.
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING:
Brian Berkson, Mayor (excused absence)
Chris Barajas, Mayor Pro Tem (excused absence)

Veronica Sanchez, Council Member
Guillermo Silva, Council Member
Council Member Silva called the Special Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: led by Council Member Sanchez.
COMMUNITY MEETING:
A. EQUESTRIAN LIFESTYLE PROTECTION OVERLAY (ELPO) -
COMMUNITY MEETING TO RECEIVE COMMUNITY INPUT ON
POTENTIAL REVISIONS TO ANIMAL KEEPING STANDARDS AND
POSSIBLE EXPANSION OF ELPO BOUNDARIES - NO FORMAL ACTION TAKEN
Jim Pechous, Principal Planner, provided a PowerPoint presentation, conducted a dote-voting board and mark overlay expansion map exercises with the City Council and community members in attendance, and provided feedback sheets to gather additional public input.
• Public Comments: Roberto Ramirez (no place of residency provided); Samuel Rodriguez, City resident; Henry Escalera (no place of residency provided); and Reynaldo Gutierrez, Gallos Exposicion.
