City Council Meeting
August 22, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Regular Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Mayor LeBarre.
2. ROLL CALL:
City Council: Mayor Mike LeBarre Council member Carlos DeLeon, Mayor Pro Tem Carlos Victoria, Council members Oscar Avalos and Rob Cullen were absent.
City Staff: City Manager Steve Adams; City Attorney Roy Santos; City Clerk, Erica Sonne.
3. FLAG SALUTE:
The flag salute was led by Mayor LeBarre.
4. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENTS:
None
5. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS:
None
6. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS:
Jesus Escutia with Monterey County Business Council out of Salinas is working the Business Building Back program. They have information on grants and loans. The 1st and 3'd Tuesday of the month they have office hours in Soledad and King City.
7. COUNCIL COMMUNICATIONS:
Council Member DeLeon stated he had nothing to report tonight.
Mayor Pro Tem Victoria reminded all that District 4 Block Party will be August 24th from 5:50-7:30pm.
Mayor LeBarre stated he had nothing to report tonight.
8. CITY STAFF REPORTS AND COMMENTS:
City Manager Adams stated that they have had a successful workshop with 9 businesses and reminded that the Blue Zones Community Walk/Bike/Run program is starting Wednesday September 6th at 6:00pm starting in Town Square every Wednesday through October.
City Attorney Roy Santos stated he had nothing to report tonight.

Action: Motion to approve consent agenda items A- E by Victoria seconded by DeLeon.
