KINGSBURG CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION
WORKSHOP MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 24, 2024
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL: At 6:01 pm the Kingsburg City Council and Planning Commission Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Vince Palomar.
Council Members Present: Staci Smith, David Silva, Laura North (arrived at 6:43pm) and Vince Palomar.
Council Members Absent: Mayor Brandon Pursell Jr.
Commissioners Present: Robert Gonzales, Craig Ruch and Bruce Blayney Commissioners Absent: Barbara Taylor, CJ Brock, Jared Ekizian and Paul Kruper.
APPROVE AGENDA: A motion was made by Commissioner Blayney, seconded by Council Member Smith to approve the agendas as published. The motion was carried by unanimous voice vote.
PRESENTATIONS AND INFORMATIONAL REPORTS: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Darren Frasier, Mid Valley Times, commented about the Chamber of Commerce closing.
REGULAR CALENDAR:
Kingsburg Focused General Plan - Presentation by Sara Allinder, Principal Planner, Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group
Community Development Director Holly Owen presented her staff report to the council members and commissioners, a summary about the General Plan Update Project. She then introduced Sara Allinder who presented the City’s General Plan Consultation regarding the legislative review. She was able to answer questions that the commissioner, council members and the public had.

Mayor Pro Tem Vince Palomar adjourned the Kingsburg City Council and Planning Commission Meeting at 6:45 pm.
