Kingsburg Community Services Department
Project Name: Senior Center Hot Meal Program
Total Grant Request: $55,000.00
Project Description:
It is proposed that the City of Kingsburg partner with the Kingsburg Health Care District to meet the needs of the surrounding senior citizen community and provide more nutritious, quality meals at the Kingsburg Senior Center.
Staff proposes that the city continue to share the costs associated with the nutrition program at the senior center with the KHCD to ensure adequate staffing and supplies to facilitate a robust and healthy meal program for the 26- 27 fiscal year. The grant request represents a not-to-exceed number. We anticipate less expenditure for both parties but wanted to provide a conservative estimate.
