SPECIAL MEETING
Monday, March 3, 2025
SPECIAL MEETING 3:30 P.M.:
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Espinoza called the Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of La Habra to order at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, located at 100 East La Habra Boulevard, La Habra, California.
INVOCATION: Assistant City Attorney Collins
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Councilmember Lampkin
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Espinoza
Mayor Pro Tem Medrano
Councilmember Gomez
Councilmember Lampkin
Councilmember Nigsarian
COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: None
OTHER OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Manager Sadro
Assistant City Attorney Collins
City Clerk Barone
Assistant City Clerk Lopez
PUBLIC COMMENTS: None.
CONSIDERATION ITEMS:
1. CONDUCT INTERVIEWS FOR ANNUAL EXPIRING TERMS AND TWO ALTERNATES ON
THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND THE COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
City Clerk Barone stated that applicant Janette Cortez withdrew her application due to being out of town for an extended period of time.
Based upon the interview schedule coordinated by City staff, City Council conducted interviews with the following applicants:
1. Denise Schmidt 4. Ginger Logan-Cannon
2. Manuel Miranda 5. Lyndsey Lefebvre
3. Carrie Surich 6. Yamilet Lara
Councilmember Nigsarian recused himself from the first interview with Denise Schmidt due to a conflict of interest and left the dais at 3:35 p.m. He returned to the dais at 3:41 p.m.

Councilmember Nigsarian recused himself from the fifth interview with Lyndsey Lefebvre due to a conflict of interest and left the dais at 4:06 p.m. He returned to the dais at 4:17 p.m.
There was no City Council discussion.
Mayor Espinoza invited the public to testify at 4:46 p.m. There was no public testimony.
ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Espinoza adjourned the meeting at 4:46 p.m. to Monday, March 3, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Closed Session Room 112C, 100 East La Habra Boulevard, followed by the Regular Meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
