Call Meeting to Order - At 3:06 p.m., Mayor Laherty called the Special City Council meeting to order.
2. Roll Call
Present: Mayor Dennis Laherty, Mayor Pro Tempore Norm Zezula, Council Members Brian Bergman, and Carey Klingfus
Absent: None
Also Present: City Manager Fabiola Huerta, Assistant City Manager Rafferty Wooldridge, City Attorney Michael Maurer, and City Clerk Specialist Anna Badillo

At 3:08 p.m., Mayor Laherty opened the public comment segment.
At 3:31 p.m., Mayor Laherty closed public comment.
4. Action to Fill Vacant City Council Seat by Appointment or by Calling a Special Election (Continued form February 14, 2022)
Action: Moved (Zezula), seconded (Klingfus), and voted 2-2 (Oppose Bergman and Laherty) to appoint resident Roy Francis to fill the vacant Council seat Action: Moved (Bergman), seconded (Laherty), and voted 2-2 (Oppose Klingfus and Zezula) to appoint resident John Pespisa to fill the vacant Council seat. election.
