Call Meeting to Order - At 2:30 p.m., Mayor Roy Francis called the Special City Council meeting to order.

Present: Mayor Roy Francis, Mayor Pro Tem Norm Zezula, Council Members Brian Bergman, and Dennis Laherty
Present via Zoom: City Attorney Michael Maurer
Absent: Council Member Carey Klingfus
Also Present: City Manager Fabiola Huerta, Assistant City Manager Rafferty Wooldridge, and Public Works Specialist Grace Andres

Appointment of qualified candidates who have been nominated for the Office of Council Member of the City of La Habra Heights who were to be elected on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the General Municipal Election and cancellation of November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election Resolution No. 2022-26: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights, California, providing for the appointment to the offices of this City that were to be elected on Tuesday, November 8, 2022
Action: Moved (Laherty), seconded (Bergman), and voted 4-0 (Absent Klingfus) to adopt Resolution No. 2022-26, and appoint Brian Bergman, John Pespisa, and Norm Zezula to four-year terms to the office of Council Member for the City of La Habra Heights, and appoint Carol Engelhardt to a two-year term to the office of Council Member for the City
