Regular Business at 6:30 P.M.
Call Meeting to Order - At 6:36 p.m., Mayor Zezula called the Regular City Council Meeting to order.
Roll Call
Present: Mayor Norm Zezula, Mayor Pro Tem Carol Engelhardt and Council Members Brian Bergman, Dennis Laherty and John Pespisa
Absent: None
Also Present: City Manager Fabiola Huerta, City Attorney Michael Maurer, Assistant City Manager Rafferty Wooldridge, Interim Fire Chief Mitch Brookhyser, Finance Manager Angie Martinez and Public Works Specialist Grace Andres.

15. Adopt Legislative Platform for 2023
Action: Moved (Bergman), seconded (Laherty) and voted 5-0 to adopt the Legislative Platform for 2023 with the inclusion of language to oppose legislation or local plans to widen or add capacity to any local roads to increase traffic through the City.
16. Adoption of Fair Political Practices Commission Form 806 Resolution No. 2023-01: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights, California, Approving Fair Political Practices Commission Form 806 regarding the appointment of Council Members to outside compensated positions to conform with Section 18702.5 of the California Code of Regulations, As amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission
Action: Moved (Laherty), seconded (Bergman) and voted 5-0 to adopt Resolution No. 2023-01 and direct the City Clerk to post FPPC Form 806 on the City's website with the mandated information.
17. Solid Waste Collection Services Agreement
Action: Moved (Laherty), seconded (Bergman) and voted 5-0 to renew the agreement with Republic Services for an additional one-year (1-year) term, direct staff to prepare an RFP for solid waste consultant services, solicit comments from the community about Republic Services, and create an RFP ad hoc committee comprised of Council Members Bergman and Laherty.
Request: By Mayor Pro Tem Carol Engelhardt and council consensus to include an item to discuss City Council priorities on February 13, 2023 meeting agenda. -- End of Administrative Items ----
