1. Call Meeting to Order - At 6:43 p.m., Mayor Engelhardt called the Regular City Council Meeting to order.

Public Hearing
12. Assessment of Delinquent Solid Waste Disposal Fees
Resolution No. 2024-21: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights, Calitoria, approving and confirming the report of delinquent solid waste disposal tees and requesting Los Angeles County to place such charges on the fiscal year 2024-25 tax roll.
At 7:08 p.m. Mayor Engelhardt opened the public hearing.
At 7:09 p.m. Mayor Engelhardt closed the public hearing.
Action: Moved (Pespisa), seconded (Laherty), and voted (5-0) to adopt Resolution No. 2024-21 confirming the report for delinquent solid waste disposal fees to become a lien against the properties as of July 8, 2024 with the exception of 1005 Dorothea and 2248 Vista and work with Republic to help the residents.
13. Assessment of Delinquent Sewer Service Fees
Resolution No. 2024-22: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights approving and confirming the report of delinquent sewer service fees and requesting Los Angeles County to place such charges on the fiscal year 2024-25 tax roll.
At 7:18 p.m. Mayor Engelhardt opened the public hearing.

Action: Moved (Bergman), seconded (Laherty), and voted (5-0) to adopt Resolution No. 2024-22 confirming the report of delinquent sewer service fees to become a lien against the property as of July 8, 2024
14. Protest Hearing - Unpaid Brush Clearance Costs
Resolution No. 2024-23: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights, California, confirming a report of costs incurred in connection with the city's brush clearance program; confirming the assessments and liens set forth in such report; and directing that such assessments be collected on the property tax roll.
At 7:20 p.m. Mayor Engelhardt opened the public hearing.
At 7:21 p.m. Mayor Engelhardt closed the public hearing.
Action: Moved (Bergman), seconded (Laherty), and voted (5-0) to adopt Resolution No. 2024-23 confirming the report of costs incurred by the city and authorizing the assessments as liens to be placed on the tax rolls effective July 8, 2024 - End of Public Hearing

16. La Habra Heights Planning Municipal Safe, Clean Water Projects in FY 2024- 2025
Action: Reviewed and discussed
17. Accessibility Improvement at the Park
Action: Moved (Bergman), seconded (Pespisa), to director staff to request proposal for design build of the ADA ramp and stairs depending on the City's purchasing policy and CBDG's requirements for the project. Authorize staff to request an advance draw down for 2 years for further CBDG funding allocation to provide additional funding for the project.
