1. Call Meeting to Order - At 6:45 p.m., Mayor Pro Tempore Greg Steffire called the Special City Council Meeting to order.

Present: Mayor Pro Tempore Greg Steffire, Council Members John Pespisa, and Norm Zezula
Absent: Mayor Brain Bergman and Council Member Carol Engelhardt Also Present: City Manager Rafferty Wooldridge, Assistant City Manager Angie Martinez, Fire Chief Ed Martin and Administrative Assistant Christina Aguilar

Administrative Items
Authorization to Purchase Replacement Fire Department Vehicles Action: Moved (Pespisa), seconded (Zezula), and voted (3-0) (Absent Bergman and Engelhardt) to approve the Fire Department purchase of three (3) vehicles and authorize a budget amendment to increase account number 260-710FIR-6726 by 232,000 for the purchase of three vehicles.
Authorization to Purchase Personal Protective Equipment for Fire Department
Action: Moved (Pespisa), seconded (Steffire), and voted (3-0) (Absent Bergman and Engelhardt) to approve the Fire Department's purchase of twenty-five (25) complete sets of PPE and authorize a budget amendment to increase account number 260-710FIR- 6912 by $181,338.99 for the purchase of twenty-five sets of PPE.

Authorization to Purchase Replacement Air Compressor for Fire Department Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
Action: Moved (Pespisa), seconded (Zezula), and voted (3-0) (Absent Bergman and Engelhardt) approve the Fire Department's purchase of used 2010 Bauer Unicus compressor and authorize a budget amendment to increase account number 260- 760FIR-6430 by $29,000 for the purchase of the compressor.
