There is a five minute maximum time limit when addressing the City Council. The amount of time for public comment may be reduced by the Mayor or by action of the City Council Electronic Public Participation

7.1 APPOINTMENT TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND TRAFFIC COMMISSION - It is recommended the City Council appoint Miguel Meza to the Public Safety and Traffic Commission for a term ending in June 2022.

7.2 APPOINTMENTS TO THE YOUTH COUNCIL - It is recommended the City Council reappoint Natalia Zuniga and Hyunjun Kim and appoint Mirabelle Trunk, Katherine Jimenez, Genevieve Silebi, Ethan Revere, Andrew Morales, and Johny Eskondar to the La Mirada Youth Council for a term ending in October 2022.

8.2 APPROVAL OF WARRANT REGISTER - It is recommended the City Council approve the warrant register dated February 22, 2022 in the total amount of $1,765,660.92.

8.3 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2021-08, CREEK PARK VEHICLE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT - APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH RRM DESIGN GROUP - It is recommended the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the On-Call Professional/Technical Services Agreement between the City of La Mirada and RRM Design Group to provide professional design services for CIP No. 2021-08, Creek Park Vehicle Bridge Replacement, based on the RRM Design Group revised proposal dated January 14, 2022, for a not to exceed fee of $229,686; and authorize the City Manager to approve additional professional services to RRM Design Group, if required, for up to 20 percent of the authorized contract amount.

8.4 APPROVAL OF FACILITY USE FOR THE LA MIRADA-WHITTIER AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISING EVENT - It is recommended the City Council approve the change of date request for use of Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraiser event.

8.5 AGREEMENT WITH THEATER DIRECT, INC. FOR TELEMARKETING SERVICES FOR THE LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS - It is recommended the City Council approve a professional services agreement with Theater Direct, Inc. for telemarketing services for the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
