In-Person Public Participation Information
To address the City Council on an Agenda item other than a Public Hearing or during Public Comments, please fill out a "Request to Address Council" card located in the back of the Council Chambers near the agendas and submit to the City Clerk prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. There is a five minute maximum time limit when addressing the City Council. The amount of time for public comment may be reduced by the Mayor or by action of the City Council Electronic Public Participation

The deadline to submit your Public Comment electronically is on the day of a regular City Council meeting before 3 p.m. For special meetings, comments must be received at least three hours prior to the meeting.

7.1 REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION AND THE LA MIRADA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION - It is recommended the City Council reappoint Desiree Johnson to the Community Services Commission for a term expiring in June 2024 and reappoint Hal Malkin to the La Mirada Community Foundation for a term expiring in May 2023.

8.2 APPROVAL OF WARRANT REGISTER - It is recommended the City Council approve the warrant register dated September 27, 2022 in the total amount of $1,866,584.58.

8.3 APPROVAL OF FACILITY USE FOR THE KIWANIS CLUB OF LA MIRADA FUNDRAISING EVENT - It is recommended the City Council approve the request for use of Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center for the Kiwanis Club of La Mirada fundraiser event and waive all rental fees with the associated use.
