In-Person Public Participation Information
To address the City Council on an Agenda item other than a Public Hearing or during Public Comments, please fill out a "Request to Address Council" card located in the back of the Council Chambers near the agendas and submit to the City Clerk prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. There is a five minute maximum time limit when addressing the City Council. The amount of time for public comment may be reduced by the Mayor or by action of the City Council Electronic Public Participation

The deadline to submit your Public Comment electronically is on the day of a regular City Council meeting before 3 p.m. For special meetings, comments must be received at least three hours prior to the meeting.

6.1 APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES - It is recommended the City Council approve the minutes of the Study Session meeting of September 12, 2023 and the minutes of the regular City Council meeting of September 12, 2023.

6.2 APPROVAL OF WARRANT REGISTER - It is recommended the City Council approve the warrant register dated September 26, 2023 in the total amount of $3,115,850.53.

6.3 INVESTMENT REPORT FOR THE CITY OF LA MIRADA FOR THE MONTH ENDING AUGUST 2023 - It is recommended the City Council receive and file the City’s Investment Report for the month ending August 2023.

6.4 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2022-09, CITY HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT – REVIEW OF BIDS AND REJECTION OF ALL BIDS - It is recommended the City Council reject all bids for Capital Improvement Project No. 2022-09, City Hall Roof Replacement and authorize the City Clerk to re-advertise for sealed bids at a later date.

6.5 APPROVAL OF THE MEALS ON WHEELS SPAGHETTI DINNER FUNDRAISING EVENT IN THE LA MIRADA ACTIVITY CENTER - It is recommended the City Council approve the request for use of the La Mirada Activity Center by Meals on Wheels for the Lou Piltz Spaghetti Dinner fundraising event and waive all rental fees associated with the proposed use.

7. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
7.1 FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 731 AMENDING REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO GRAFFITI AND AMENDING TITLE 9 OF THE LA MIRADA MUNICIPAL CODE - It is recommended the City Council introduce for first reading Ordinance No. 731 amending regulations applicable to graffiti and amending Title 9 of the La Mirada Municipal Code, by title only, and waive further reading.
