There is a five minute maximum time limit when addressing the City Council. The amount of time for public comment may be reduced by the Mayor or by action of the City Council Electronic Public Participation

5.1 RECOGNITION OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY ANAYANCY ACOSTA - It is recommended the City Council present a recognition plaque to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Anayancy Acosta for her dedication to enhancing the programs and services offered by Norwalk Sheriff’s Station to La Mirada youth.

5.2 PROCLAMATION FOR PARKS AND RECREATION MONTH – It is recommended the City Council proclaim July 2024 as Parks and Recreation Month in the City of La Mirada and present a proclamation to Community Services Coordinator Veronica Luna.

9. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
9.1 RESOLUTION NO. 24-12 APPROVING CERTIFICATE OF COMPATIBILITY NO. 64 AND VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO. 83540 TO DEVELOP A 42-UNIT CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX AT 15700 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY, WITHIN THE IMPERIAL HIGHWAY SPECIFIC PLAN (IHSP) ZONING DISTRICT AND FINDING THE PROJECT EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) GUIDELINES PURSUANT TO SECTION 15332 OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES - It is recommended the City Council make the required findings for the Certificate of Compatibility; affirm the CEQA Exemption; and adopt Resolution No. 24-12 approving Certificate of Compatibility No. 64 and Vesting Tentative Tract Map No. 83540 allowing the construction of a 42-unit condominium complex at 15700 Imperial Highway within District PA-3A of the Imperial Highway Specific Plan Zoning District.

10.1 SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT – It is recommended the City Council approve the Second Amendment to the City Manager Employment Agreement and authorize the Mayor to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
