SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SANDLER
PARTNERS/GOTO FOR A UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS
SYSTEM
BACKGROUND
In December 2021, the City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a unified communications system. An IT Committee comprised of City staff and consultants conducted interviews and selected Sandler Partners/GoTo. At the June 28, 2022 City Council meeting, the Council authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with Sandler Partners/GoTo for a unified communication system. The agreement allows for renewals for 12-month terms.
FINDINGS
At the June 24, 2025 City Council meeting, the City Council approved an additional 12- month term in the amount of $3,888.49 per month for Sandler Partners/GoTo to provide telephone and communications services. This 12-month term ends on July 31. The City recently received a quote in the amount of $4,015.39 per month for an additional 12- month term that would end on July 31, 2027.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
It is recommended the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Sandler Partners/GoTo for a unified communications system at the monthly rate of $4,015.39 for a one-year term.
