SECTION 11 - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I moved to La Mirada at eight years old in 1999 and attended Escalona, Los Coyotes, and La Mirada High School. My entire family still lives here, and as a father, I want my daughter to grow up in the same safe, supportive community that shaped me. La Mirada is my home, and serving this city is deeply important to me.
My purpose in life is to serve. God gave me the ability to empathize, communicate, and guide others with honesty and compassion. Growing up in an immigrant family, I often That experience taught me to protect people, clarify confusion, and speak up for those had to understand laws and systems on my own so I could explain them to my parents.:
who feel unheard.
I have seen discrimination in many subtle forms-not only against culture or race, but against people who simply lack information or understanding. This made me determined to help others feel seen, valued, and supported. When people come to me, they often seek advice, direction, clarity, emotional strength, and leadership. I take that responsibility seriously.
I am particularly interested in serving on the Community Foundation to help strengthen programs for families, youth, and seniors, and on the Planning Commission to believe these roles will allow me to support La Mirada both through direct service and understand and contribute to the long-term development and structure of our city. I through thoughtful decision-making.
In the long term, I hope to contribute to a city that my children, and their children, can be proud of, a city built through unity, honesty, and purpose. I want to be remembered as someone who did not stay quiet, who cared about real change, and who worked to build a better future for all families in La Mirada.
