CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Baker called the Special Meeting of the La Palma City Council to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers of La Palma City Hall, 7822 Walker Street, La Palma, California.

PI-1. City Council Reorganization
Reconsideration of the December 13, 2022, selection of Mayor Pro Tempore.
Mayor Baker asked for a motion to reconsider the City Council’s decision on the December 13th appointment of Mayor Pro Tem.
A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Waldman to reconsider the City Council’s decision on the December 13th appointment of Mayor Pro Tem. The motion was seconded by Council Member Goodman and carried on the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Baker, Council Member Keo Conklin, Council
Member Goodman, Council Member Patel, and Mayor
Pro Tem Waldman
NOES: None

Mayor Baker opened the floor to nominations for Mayor Pro Tem.
Mayor Pro Tem Waldman nominated Council Member Goodman as Mayor Pro Tem. The motion was seconded by Council Member Patel and carried on the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Baker, Council Member Keo Conklin, Council
Member Goodman, Council Member Patel, and
Council Member Waldman
NOES: None
