CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Baker called the Special Meeting of the La Palma City Council to order at 8:16 a.m. in the Royal Palm Room of the La Palma Community Center, 7821 Walker Street, La Palma, California, with Council Member Keo Conklin being absent.

1. Goal Setting Facilitation Presentation
Jacob Green, President and CEO of Jacob Green & Associates who the City has contracted with to conduct the meeting, gave a presentation on building a highly effective team; the role of cognitive diversity in team cohesion; the roles and Special City Council Meeting

responsibilities in a municipal organization; and an overview of ideas for vision, mission, values, and paradigm for La Palma.
Mayor Baker recessed the Open Session at 9:29 a.m.
Mayor Baker reconvened the City Council in Closed Session at 9:49 a.m.

Mayor Baker adjourned Closed Session at 12:10 p.m.
OPEN SESSION
