CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Goodman called the Special Meeting of the La Palma City Council to order at 9:02 a.m. in the El Capitan Room at California Joint Powers Insurance Authority, 8081 Moody Street, La Palma, California, with all members present.

1. Goal Setting Facilitation Presentation
City Manager McNamara introduced the agenda scheduling for today's Session and then introduced the Consultant - Jacob Green - who gave a detailed overview of reasons for the City Council's Goal Setting, the Council-City Manager form of government and the Council's relationship with Staff, organizational priorities, and a variety of communication tools.

Mayor Goodman recessed to Closed Session at 9:49 a.m.
Mayor Goodman called for a recess at 11:33 a.m.
Mayor Goodman reconvened to Closed Session at 11:37 a.m.
RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
1. Closed Session Report
Mayor Goodman reconvened in Open Session at 12:22 p.m. and asked for a report.
City Attorney Thind announced that there were no reportable actions out of Closed Session.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Goodman thanked Consultant Jacob Green for his services and adjourned the Special Meeting at 12:23 p.m.
