CALL TO ORDER
Mayor N. Patel called the Special Meeting of the La Palma City Council to order at 10: 00 a. m. in the La Palma Community Center, Fan Palm Room, 7821 Walker Street, La Palma, California.
It was noted for the record that Council Member Keo Conklin arrived at 10: 05 a. m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor N. Patel led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mayor N. Patel called for public comment. Seeing no one come forward, Mayor N. Patel closed public comment.
REGULAR ITEMS
1. City Council Strategic Planning, Goals and Objectives Setting Session The City Council conducted a Strategic Planning, Goals and Objectives Setting Session for calendar year 2026.
Staff presented an overview and reviewed the 2025 City Council Goals and Objectives and accomplishments for the 2025 calendar year.
Mayor Patel called a recess at 10: 53 a. m. The meeting reconvened at 11: 00 a. m.
City Manager Kim presented proposed 2026 City Council Goals and Objectives for City Council' s consideration for future adoption. General discussion commenced amongst the City Council and City Council Meeting Minutes
January 16, 2026
consensus was met directing City Manager Kim to prepare the proposed 2026 Goals and Objectives for consideration and adoption at a future Regular City Council Meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor N. Patel adjourned the Special Meeting of the La Palma City Council at 11: 34 a. m.
