In response to an inquiry from Mayor Pro Tem Munoz regarding TAP funding for the Veteran's Memorial and the Central Avenue Plaza Park, Director of Development Services Di Mario confirmed that the funding for the Veteran's Memorial is separate from the Central Avenue Plaza Park.

In response to an inquiry by Council Member Argudo regarding qualified architects, City Manager Lindsey clarified that because the project would use TAP funds, the City would need to contract an architect from the TAP list of qualified consultants. City Manager Lindsey further clarified that qualified consultants can also be added to the TAP list, and dual architects may be utilized, but that due to short-term time constraints, action is necessary to secure funding.

A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Munoz, seconded by Council Member Argudo, to authorize the City Manager to select an Architect from TAP's list of qualified consultants and enter into a contract for up to $75,000.00 to produce two formal design options for the Veteran's Memorial Park.
