NOTICE OF CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 54955 AND 54955.1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following hearing held at the Regular Meeting of the La Puente City Council held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., has been continued to the Regular City Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 15900 East Main Street, La Puente, California, 91744:
GENERAL PLAN ADMENDMENT NO. 26-01 & MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT NO. 26-01 - The City Council will consider: (1) adoption of a Resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 26-01 to amend the Land Use Element and Housing Element of the General Plan; (2) adoption of an Ordinance approving Municipal Code Amendment No. 26-01 amending Title 10 (Zoning) of the La Puente Municipal Code to establish Chapter 10.21 (Religious Congregational Sites Overlay), Chapter 10.51 (Replacement Housing Units), and Chapter 10.52 (Housing Element Sites) to implement 6th Cycle Housing Element Programs 3a, 3b, and 3c; (3) adoption of an Ordinance updating the Official Zoning Map to apply the Religious Congregational Sites Overlay and Housing Reuse Overlay districts to specific parcels identified in the Housing Element; and (4) adoption of a CEQA Addendum to the 6th Cycle Housing Element Negative Declaration and direction to file a Notice of Determination.
All interested parties may appear and present testimony with regard to this matter. If you challenge the nature of the proposed matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of La Puente at, or prior to, the public hearing.
