Madam Mayor and City Council Members,
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the City of La Quinta for the last seven and a half years. I have appreciated your trust in appointing me and allowing me to serve.
Sitting alongside my esteemed colleagues on the Planning Commission has also been a privilege. Their knowledge, diligence and concern for the City never ceases to amaze.
I especially want to thank the wonderful support of city staƯ, and Danny and his team. They made the job easy.
I am sorry that I will not be at the July 2 meeting to receive the recognition certificate but I will be there in spirit (and on 12milesout).
I know I leave the City in good hands, all of whom will continue to make La Quinta THE Gem of the Desert.
