Subject: Written Comments - Special Joint Meeting March 26 Dear Mayor, City Council, and Commissioners,
As you convene for tonight’s Special Joint Meeting, I wanted to submit a brief note of sincere appreciation for the record!
Having lived in and visited various cities throughout the Coachella Valley, I am constantly reminded of why La Quinta is such a special place to call home. The dedication shown by our City Council and the various volunteer Commissions is evident in the quality of life we enjoy every day.
I especially want to highlight the City staff. I've come in many times and called and the staff members are consistently professional, kind, and helpful. That level of "small town" service combined with such a high level of "big city" planning is what makes me feel like there's something special in this town.
Thank you all for the hours you all volunteer and the hard work you put into keeping our "Gem of the Desert" shining. I am proud to be a resident here.
