5. Council Study Session on SB 9 The City Council met in a study session with staff to review SB 9. Staff presentedanoverviewofSenateBill9, whichwentintoeffectonJanuary1, 2022, whichallowsforadditionalresidentialdevelopmenton single-family zoned properties throughout the State.
Mayor Hepburn called for public comment on this matter.

TheCityCouncildirectedStaffoncertainaspectssothatadraftordinancecanbebroughtbackbeforethePlanningCommissionandCityCouncilinfuture public hearings.
