An adjourned meeting of the La Verne City Council was called to order by Mayor Hepburn at 6:00 p.m.

3. Presentation to the La Verne Mayor Hepburn, on behalf of the City Council, recognized and congratulated Little League Softball Team the La Verne Little League Softball All-Star Team. For the team to get to the Little League World Series they went 8-0 and they outscored their opponents year, La Verne beat Arizona twice, and did so by a margin of 20-1. Presentation to the La Verne Mayor Hepburn, behalf of the City Council recognized and congratulated the Little League Senior Baseball La Verne Little League Senior Baseball Team. The Senior Little League is the highest division of Little League, and it's the last chance for any youth player to play and advance to the World Series. Little League has had Seniors for the 4-1 to advance to the State Tournament. In the State Tournament the team went 4-2 to advance to the West Region Tournament. In the West Region Tournament, the team went 2-2. The team was managed by Branden Mulder and was coached by Joshua Alba and Kevin Duffield. The team roster is as follows:
