1. CALL TO ORDER
Moraga Mayor Sos called the Tri-Cities Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Lafayette City Council: Mayor Anduri, Vice Mayor Dawson; Councilmembers Candell, Gerringer, and Kwok
Absent: None
Staff Present: Niroop Srivatsa, City Manager
Moraga Town Council: Mayor Sos, Vice Mayor Onoda; Councilmembers Hillis, Shapiro, and Woehleke
Absent: None
City of Orinda: Mayor Miller, Vice Mayor Gee; Councilmembers Malkani and Iverson
Absent: Councilmember Riley
3. Pledge of Allegiance
Members of Boy Scouts Troop 219 led the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
ACTION: It was M/S/C (Onoda/Woehleke) to adopt the agenda. Vote: 14-0-1 (Ayes: Anduri, Dawson, Candell, Gerringer, Kwok, Sos, Onoda, Hillis, Shapiro, Woehleke, Miller, Gee, Malkani, and Iverson Noes:
None; Absent: Riley).
5. PUBLIC COMMENTS

LAURA WEHRLEY, Outreach Director for Sustainable Contra Costa Mayor Sos accepted the Sustainability Challenge from Lafayette to Moraga to Orinda. Mayor Anduri thanked Ms. Wehrley for organizing the competition.
6. NEW BUSINESS
A. Lamorinda Smart Signal Projects
Mayor Sos introduced the item. Moraga Chief of Police Jon King discussed the importance of the Smart Signals project for the Lamorinda area.
Moraga Public Works Director Shawn Knapp provided a presentation and responded to questions from the Councilmembers.
There are no comments from the public.
Council discussion followed.
Director of Planning John Hoang of Contra Costa Transportation Authority provided more information about the Countywide Smart Signals Program.
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier gave remarks and presented a check for $4,185,000.00.
