Continue the discussion from the Thursday, July 20, 2023, Special Closed Session to confer with legal counsel regarding significant exposure to litigation (pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(2)) – one item: complaint alleging conduct of Councilmember George Weiss constituting harassment and creating a hostile work environment.
No other business shall be considered at the Special Closed Session Meeting.
POST MEETING REPORT:
City Attorney Phil Kohn reported that Mayor Bob Whalen, Mayor Pro Tem Sue Kempf, Councilmember Alex Rounaghi, and Councilmember Mark Orgill were present and participated in person for the discussion on the one item of significant exposure to litigation. There was no reportable action taken, and the Council adjourned to the regular Closed Session at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
