Confer with Legal Counsel Regarding Significant Exposure to Litigation (pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(2)) – one item: complaint alleging conduct of Councilmember George Weiss constituting harassment and creating hostile work environment. Mayor Bob Whalen will be participating in the closed session remotely via teleconference from 125 Speedboat Avenue, Kings Beach, CA.
No other business shall be considered at the Special Closed Session Meeting.
POST MEETING REPORT:
City Attorney Phil Kohn reported that Mayor Pro Tem Sue Kempf, Councilmember Mark Orgill and Councilmember Alex Rounaghi were present and participated in person, and Mayor Bob Whalen was present and participated via teleconference as noted on the agenda, for the discussion on the one item of significant exposure to litigation. There was no reportable action taken, and the City Council adjourned to the regular Closed Session at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
