Council Chambers, 505 Forest Ave, Laguna Beach, CA 92651 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mayor of the City of Laguna Beach has called a special meeting of the City Council to take place at 3:00 p.m. on December 18, 2023, for the purpose of discussing and taking action on item listed on the agenda below.
1. PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT (RECRUITMENT)
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b)(1)
Title: City Manager
Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 54957(b)(1), the City Council holds this closed session for recruitment of a new City Manager.
Public Comment can be provided in Council Chambers at 3:00 p.m., then the City Council will recess into closed session in Conference Room A
No other business shall be considered at the Special Closed Session Meeting.
POST MEETING REPORT:
At 4:10 p.m., the City Council reconvened in Council Chambers and City Attorney Megan Garibaldi reported that all Councilmembers were present and participated for the discussion on the one item relating to Public Employment, there was no public comment, and there was no reportable action taken. The City Council adjourned to the regular Closed Session at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
