TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mayor of the City of Laguna Beach has called a special meeting of the City Council to take place at 12:15 p.m. on March 18, 2024, for the purpose of discussing and taking action on the items listed on the below agenda.

Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 54957(b)(1), the City Council holds this closed session for recruitment of a new City Manager and appointment of an interim/acting City Manager.

Unrepresented Employee: Interim/Acting City Manager
Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 54957.6, the City Council holds this closed session to review its position and instruct its designated representatives regarding the salary and benefits relating to the appointment of a new City Manager and an interim/acting City Manager.

Public Comment on the closed session items can be provided at Executive Suite #266 at the Montage Laguna Beach (30801 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach) at 12:15 p.m., following the meeting’s call to order. The City Council will then recess into closed session.
No other business shall be considered at the Special Closed Session Meeting.

POST MEETING REPORT:
At 4:30 p.m., City Attorney Megan Garibaldi reported that all Councilmembers were present and participated in the discussion on the five items on the agenda, there was no public comment, and there was no reportable action taken.
