Recommendations:
(1) Receive a presentation from the results of the study conducted by Emergency Service Consulting Services on the Laguna Beach Fire Department Standards of Cover Study; (2) Discuss and consider adding three full-time firefighter positions to the City’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget; (3) Support a Strategic Plan to continue evaluation of the study recommendations; and (4) Reappropriate $25,000 from the remaining FY 2023-24 Standard of Cover budget appropriation to develop the Strategic Plan.
