SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
City Staff and the City’s Claims Administrator, George Hills Company, recommend the City Council reject the following claims:
• Claim #25-27, filed by Marlo Maldonado on June 10, 2025, is alleging monetary loss. • Claim #24-28 filed by Jeannie Richardson on June 10, 2025, alleging bodily injury resulting from a trip-and-fall.

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
The recommended action has no financial impact on the budget.

ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
The proposed action is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(2) and (b)(5), because it involves general administrative activities of government that will not result in a direct or indirect physical change to the environment. Specifically, this action involves the rejection of claims filed against the City, which is part of the routine administration of the Government Claims Act and does not commit the City to any physical development or improvement.
