TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mayor of the City of Laguna Beach has called a special Closed Session meeting of the City Council to take place at 4:30 p.m. on October 29, 2025, for the purpose of discussing and taking action on the item listed below.
No other business shall be considered at the Special Closed Session Meeting except as listed below.
A. ROLL CALL – 4:30 p.m.
B. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON CLOSED SESSION AGENDA ITEMS: Public Comment on the below closed session item can be provided in the Council Chambers at City Hall (505 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, CA 92651) at 4:30 p.m., following the meeting’s call to order.
The City Council will then recess into closed session in the City Council Chambers.
1. THREAT TO PUBLIC SERVICES OR FACILITIES

POST MEETING REPORT:
City Attorney Megan Garibaldi reported that the City Council held a Closed Session pursuant to the item listed on the agenda. They convened at 4:30 p.m. and recessed at 6:15 p.m. All Councilmembers were present. No public comment was provided in advance of the Closed Session. At the meeting, the City Council engaged in active shooter training and undertook an assessment for site security and threat-response improvements at City Hall.
