My neighbors sent me a notice y'all are looking to make the flag we all have and love "official flag". I'm all for it, if it matters.

Please reject this amateurish design and initiate a competition among real artists to come up with something more fitting for our extraordinary town.
Thank you,
Billy Fried

Subject: City Council Agenda Item 18 - Adoption of an Official City Flag Regarding City Council Agenda Item 18, Adoption of an Official City Flag, I support recommendations 2 and 3.
While a city flag is an idea worth considering, and I appreciate the work the resident, Chad Cooper, has put into getting the ball rolling, I do have three comments:
1. Let's try harder to find the 1980's flag mentioned in the staff report, or at least a picture of it, or a description of it, so we can see what an earlier City Council found appropriate.
2. Design of a city flag could be a prime opportunity to challenge our artistic community to come up with a great design.
3. Unfortunately, regarding the proposed design, someone described it as looking like a face throwing up flowers. It's got ears, eyes, nose, and open mouth. Now, I can't unsee that.
