PRESENTATION
1 SUBJECT: PRESENTATION FROM THE LAGUNA BEACH HISTORICAL SOCIETY RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Receive and file the informational presentation by the Laguna Beach Historical Society regarding historic stories of Laguna Beach.
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
This report notes that the Laguna Beach Historical Society will present a brief informational update to the City Council on historic stories of Laguna Beach. These presentations are scheduled to occur on a recurring, near-monthly basis and are intended to enhance public understanding of the City’s historical and cultural heritage. No Council action is required.
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.
ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
The proposed action is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(2) and (b)(5), as it involves general administrative and organizational activities of government that do not result in a direct or indirect physical change to the environment.
