Dear City Council and City Manager:

Thank you for your care for our community.

I am writing in support for my neighbors request to trim the eucalyptus trees at the Glenneyre parking lot between Legion and Park. I have seen photos of the trees back several years ago and it is clear they have been growing and need to be trimmed.

I have lived on Los Robles for over 20 years.

The view of Main Beach over the last several years has been obscured by the growth of these eucalyptus trees.

I will be out of town on February 10, otherwise I would come to the council meeting to say what is in this email.

Please trim the trees for the benefit of all our good neighbors and perhaps for the safety of the community.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Jeanne Meyers
Los Robles

Subject: NO TAX HIKE
This council has been on a very wrong path for a very long time. Why not sell St. Catherine's School to recoup the outrageous spending that has been going on for years. We need logical and productive people like Toni Isman back in charge. We pay enough taxes in this city. How dare you think of taxing the residents' before you cut back on your spending. The city council needs to reel in the spending. What is wrong with the promenade as it is. I don't even want it but good lord do not spend another dime on this.

Respectfully,
Chritine Shields
Long time resident

No tax increase. Need money? Stop hiring consultants, stop the Promenade construction, stop attempting to take on the Canyon Road, stop other nonessential projects and reduce City staff.
