INTERVIEWS
3 SUBJECT: INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE HERITAGE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Interview the three applicants and appoint two residents to the Heritage Committee for two-year terms beginning April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028.
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
The Heritage Committee is a five-member body that serves in an advisory role on matters pertaining to historic preservation, and reviews applications for the City’s Historic Register. Meetings are generally held on the third Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
DISCUSSION
On March 31, 2026, the terms of two Heritage Committee members will expire: Linda Morgenlander and Jon Stordahl. For the two openings, three applications were received before the deadline:
(1) TJ Fink
(2) Linda Morgenlander (Incumbent)
(3) Jon Stordahl (Incumbent)

The recommended action has no financial impact to the budget.

The recommended action has no environmental impact.
